Yuanchun Shi is a Changjiang distinguished professor of the Department of Computer Science. Her research interests include human computer interaction, ubiquitous computing, distributed multimedia processing and e-learning. Prof.Shi won 2 National Science and Technology Advancement Awards and many best paper awards. Prof.Shi received all her PhD, MS and BS in Computer Science from Tsinghua University. She is the dean of Global Innovation eXchange Institute (GIX: Global Innovation eXchange) of Tsinghua University. Locating in Seattle, U.S., GIX is a collaboration between Tsinghua University and the University of Washington.
